Every figure is a starting point. Final fees depend on scope and are quoted in writing. Minimum term 3 months, 30 days notice, invoiced with 14 days payment terms, in GBP or USD.

Engagement models

Two ways to engage us

Every engagement is one of the two models below, agreed in writing before work starts.

Monthly retainer

A recurring engagement for ongoing advisory and oversight work: marketing oversight, operational support through a period of change, or a standing point of senior contact. Scope covers a defined set of responsibilities rather than an open-ended block of hours, and is adjusted by written variation as the business's needs move.

Minimum term: 3 months. Thereafter it continues monthly until either side gives 30 days written notice.

Scoped consulting engagement

A defined piece of work with a written scope, agreed deliverables and a completion point: reviews, strategy work, process documentation, supplier selection and similar work with a clear end state. Scope, including what is explicitly excluded, is fixed before the engagement begins. Work outside it is quoted separately.

Term: set by the scope, with agreed milestones where the engagement runs over several weeks.

Process

How an engagement starts

  1. Discovery call. Around forty-five minutes, no charge and no obligation. If we are not the right people, we say so on this call.
  2. Written proposal. Scope, deliverables, timeline and fees, confirmed with you before anything is agreed.
  3. Signed agreement. Work does not begin before both parties have signed.
  4. Onboarding. A structured handover of access, context and a named decision maker on the client side.

Terms

Contracting

Every engagement, of either model, is governed by a written agreement between the client and BKube LLC, covering:

  • The scope of work and the specific deliverables.
  • The term of the engagement and the notice period.
  • Fees, the invoicing schedule and payment terms.
  • Confidentiality obligations on both sides.
  • Ownership of the work produced during the engagement.
  • How either party may terminate, and what happens on termination.

Retainer engagements carry a minimum term of 3 months and continue thereafter until either party gives 30 days written notice. We do not lock clients into long fixed terms, and we do not begin chargeable work without a signed agreement in place.

Money

Billing and invoicing

Retainer engagements are invoiced monthly in advance. Scoped engagements are invoiced against the milestones set out in the agreement, or on completion where the work is short enough not to need milestones.

Invoices are issued by BKube LLC in GBP for clients billed in the United Kingdom and in USD for clients billed in the United States. Payment is by bank transfer to the account named on the invoice, with payment terms of 14 days from the invoice date unless the agreement states otherwise.

Expenses are not charged unless agreed in writing in advance. Third-party costs incurred on a client's behalf, such as advertising spend or software licences, are contracted and paid for by the client directly wherever possible, so they do not pass through our books as a markup.

Billing questions go to hello@bkubesolutions.com.

Partners

Working with agencies

A share of our work is delivered white-label for agencies and other service firms. In those engagements our client is the agency, not the agency's client: we are engaged and invoiced by the agency, work to a scope the agency agrees with us, and remain behind their client relationship unless they ask otherwise.

These engagements are contracted the same way as any other, with confidentiality running in both directions and clear terms on attribution and ownership of the work.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long is a typical engagement?

Retainers carry a minimum term of 3 months and are designed to continue beyond it where the work warrants it. Scoped projects usually run from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the work.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. Engagements are delivered remotely by video call, written work and shared documents, which is how clients across multiple markets are served properly.

Which markets do you work with?

We work with clients internationally. BKube LLC is registered in the State of Wyoming, United States and invoices in GBP or USD depending on where the client is billed.

What is not included in an engagement?

Anything not written into the scope. We do not provide legal, accounting, tax or regulated financial advice, act as an in-house replacement, or carry out hands-on production work outside the agreed scope. Where an engagement needs specialist execution, we bring in contracted specialists, agreed with the client in advance.

How is confidentiality handled?

Confidentiality obligations are written into every engagement agreement and run in both directions. We do not publish client names, and we will sign a client's own non-disclosure agreement where they prefer to use it.

How do we begin?

Send an enquiry through the contact page or email hello@bkubesolutions.com with a short description of the situation. We reply within one business day and propose a time for the discovery call.

Start with a conversation

The discovery call carries no charge and no obligation. If we are not the right fit for the work, we will say so on that call rather than send you a proposal.
